My love for sewing started when I was very young, spending long, cherished days at my grandma's house. I can still picture her and her friends gathered together at their quilting bees — sitting in a circle, stitching by hand for hours until a quilt came to life. I loved those days.
It wasn't until I was older and tried making quilts of my own that I truly understood the craft, the patience, and the love that goes into every stitch.
Today, I treasure quilts for their beauty — but what really captures my heart is seeing an older quilt that's losing its life and knowing I can give it a new one. I take those precious remnants and transform them into something wearable, useful, and full of story.
That's how Made by Paula was born. A few shirts for friends, a few for myself — and it grew from there.
Every piece you find here carries a history. I hope you enjoy looking at my creations made from quilts, vintage fabrics, and materials that deserve to be loved all over again.
